We are all just creatures of habit
I’ve done the same thing for the last ten years when I’ve had an utterly horrible day.
Get into bed mildly intoxicated, pull about three comforters over my head until I become a tiny heap under the weight of the all the blankets.
Usually I put on one of three CDs, but last night it was Brand New (every album in order from start to finish). Light candles and just hold a pillow or the...

I have a plethora of incredible people in my life. Not many people can make that statement. As insane as life is, I am so in awe of how it always yields the best results, and brings us to places we never could have imagined.
I’m grateful.
Can you say introspection is in my near future?
It’s pretty trippy looking for your camera case and coming across a pile of your journals from the last ten years. Flipping through I’m starting to see how I’ve become the person I am, and was reminded of the person I was (and quite a bit that I’ve forgotten I was). Perfect thing to do the night before a 24 hour road trip.

Or, all three.

Chills
I’ve been having a shit morning. Flat tires, missing a midterm, a list of shit a mile long that I have to do before Texas, worrying about school, worrying about work, worrying about Reggie. Finding out I’m 95% unlikely to get into the Peace Corps because of my health…
All of the sudden my mom calls me and tells me this:
“I’ve been researching leukemia, and I read...

Homesick
I use my parents totally 80s bed set from when they got married 30 years ago.
Laying in bed- listening to Darkness on the Edge of Town, complete inner peace.
It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane.
